Happy Easter from Glam in Gotham

Happy Easter from Glam in Gotham!!

I know I have been absent since the start of this pandemic. It’s been a challenge trying to find the words. I’ll be back at it soon, but for now, I want to wish you and your family a safe and happy Easter (and Passover).

It’s incredible difficult to be apart from loved ones, especially during this difficult time. It’s hard to find the words to express having to change our traditions and anchors: church services, family gatherings, little household moments- dyeing eggs, making my grandmother’s bunny horns (they’re like scones). Easter this year is a challenge.

I want to send my love to all of you. Just the past few days I have seen so many beautiful moments on my social media feeds. An Easter Bunny driving through neighborhoods, zoom seders (outside of ours, lol), grandparents making face masks into bunnies for their social distanced visits. It puts a smile on my face and my heart to see these beautiful, hopeful moments.

I hope everyone enjoys themselves responsibly and hopefully this time next year will feel that much sweeter.

I personally have a container full of Cadbury creme eggs, my two beautiful pups, and a husband wearing seersucker pants. Who can ask for anything more?

Xoxo, Mary
